For nearly 35 years, Dr. Samuel Selinger has provided dedicated service to the Spokane community, first as a cardiovascular surgeon and now as an activist and volunteer. Currently serving as an advisor, Dr. Selinger was Medical Director and Founder of Spokane County Medical Society's Project Access from 2001 - 2005. Furthering the work of Project Access in 2005, he was appointed by Governor Gregoire to the board of the Washington Prescription Drug Assistance Foundation where he is now Board Member Emeritus. He is currently a board member of the Empire Health Foundation and the Spokane Park Board.
Dr. Selinger earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, earned his M.D. at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and completed his Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
